Arturo Reyes Ybarra

Arturo Reyes Ybarra 79, passed away April 4, 2014 in Dallas, TX. He was born October 22, 1934 in San Marcos, TX to Fausto Ybarra and Frances Reyes. Arturo served honorably in the Texas Army National Guard. He later became an upholstery business owner, whose work was show cased in numerous magazines. His customers included many well-known cliental. He was a contributing founding member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where he was a loyal Cursillista. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fausto Ybarra and Francis Reyes and siblings, Joe Ybarra, Indalccio Ybarra, Adolph Ybarra, Daniel Ybarra and Julia Martinez. He is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Dominga Rodriguez Ybarra; son, Adrian Ybarra; daughters, Yolanda Lopez (Pradexis), Christine Ybarra, Esther Garcia (Frank), JoAnn Luna, Sara Torres (Joe); sister, Delores Garcia; brother, Mike Ybarra; 18 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, other extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm Monday, April 7, 2014 at Calvary Hill Mausoleum North Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 5605 Bernal Dr, Dallas, TX 75212. Interment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220.
