Anthony was born in a house in Dallas located where the Fair Park Lagoon is located today. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He was an avid beekeeper and as a board member of the Dallas County Farm Bureau, he wrote resolutions to protect honeybees from farming chemicals.
He worked 39 years for the Federal Government. He acquired a family late in life and his family meant everything to him. He attended church faithfully with his wife at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ann Caronna and children, Ruth Schuman, JoAnn Caronna, Mark Caronna and his wife Maria; grandchildren, Teresa and Melissa Schuman, Vivian and Anthony Caronna. Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be 10:30am Friday, January 5, 2018 at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 6306 Kenwood Ave, Dallas, TX 75214, followed by Mass at 11am. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
