96, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a loyal friend. Ann was born July 28, 1917 in Texarkana, Arkansas, where she spent her early years. On November 16, 1943, she married Thomas K. Vick of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. They moved to Dallas in 1946 and resided there for the rest of their lives. Ann was a active member of University Park United Methodist Church, Dallas Bankers Wives, First Friday Club and Dallas Women’s Club, Mary K. Craig Class. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Vick of Dallas, Texas; son, Ken Vick and his wife Sally of San Antonio, Texas; three very special grandchildren and their spouses, by whom she was affectionately called “Memommie”: Whitney Fleming (Scott) of San Antonio, Texas, Leah Bull (Jonathan) of Conway, Arkansas, and Wilson Vick (Kristen) of Dallas, Texas; and two precious great-granddaughters: Lila and Auden Fleming of San Antonio, Texas. Ann appreciated the loving care given by Marjorie Hunter and Rita Bellard. Memorial service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, April 9th at Sparkman Hillcrest.
