Ann M. Olesky

Ann Malcom Olesky passed away on Jun 29, 2018, in Dallas, Texas. She was born in Abilene, Texas, on January 19, 1931. She graduated from Abilene High School in 1948. In 1950, Ann graduated from Hockaday Junior College and then went on to attend SMU, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. After college, she worked at Neiman Marcus as a model and buyer at the original downtown location. Ann married Bob Olesky and had two sons. While she was a stay at home mom, she started a business called Special Occasions, that made decorations and dressed tables for bar and bat mitzvahs. Ann is preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her sons, Sam (Cait) Olesky of Mill Valley, CA, and David (Stacy) Olesky of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Jackson, Griffin, Caroline and Alex Olesky. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at 12:30 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Temple Emanu-El General Operating Fund.
