Ann M Fee, age 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 5, 2017, in Plano, Texas. Ann, was born Wednesday, July 22, 1931, to Michael Tubridy and Delia Geraghty Tubridy, in Astoria, New York. She was the third eldest of five children; Joseph, John, (Ann), Catherine, and Martin.
Ann grew up in Astoria, New York, and was raised Roman Catholic. Growing up, Ann was a particularly precocious child. In her studies at school and in life experiences, Ann was able to excel in just about any of her endeavors. She had a beautiful singing voice that was used in choir in both elementary and high school and also liked to act in stage productions. She was very intelligent and as a very young girl she was a multi-week winner on early versions of many game shows where she amassed a great amount of household treasures and was quite a local celebrity. Even in her early years, she was a go-to person that always seemed to know or find a way to help others. She graduated Immaculata High School, New York and attended Fordham University. She worked for 22 years in communications as a sales representative for the New York Telephone Company, which changed names throughout the years.
Ann married Matthew (Matty) Fee on August 12, 1950 and spent 27 wonderful marital years together before his passing. Their marriage brought them much joy including the addition of her beautiful children; Peter, Kenneth, Susan, Margaret, and Anne Elizabeth. Ann loved family and was thrilled to have the addition of her grandchildren; David Sedacca, Kristen Sedacca, Jessica Redeman, Kerry Fee, Kaitlyn Redeman, Valerie Kratochvil, and Laurie Kratochvil.
Ann was a loving, sweet, but independent and determined woman. She loved the Dallas Arboretum, crocheting, reading, bowling, gardening, and orchids. Her favorite musician was Neil Diamond and she had her favorite television shows; Murder She Wrote and Columbo. She really enjoyed St. Patrick Day.
Ann was a devote Catholic woman and was a part of the Roman Catholic Immaculate Conception Church in Astoria, New York; where she was a Prefect for the Rotary Society. She also made the Vestments for their Priests. In Texas, she has been a parishioner of St Mark Catholic Church, in Plano.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Matty Fee, parents Michael and Delia, siblings, Joseph Tubridy, John Tubridy, and Catherine Barra.
Ann is survived by her children Anne Elizabeth (Ray) Redeman, Margaret (Ken) Kratochvil, Kenneth Fee, Peter Fee, and, her grandchildren Jessica Redeman, Kaitlyn Redeman, Valerie Kratochvil, Laurie Kratochvil, Kerry Fee, brother Martin Tubridy and many extended family and friends.
