Andrew David Sims

Andrew was born in Dallas, TX on October 14,1985, to David Lee Sims and Sharon Taylor Sims. He graduated from South Garland High School.

Andrew worked in shipping and receiving for many years. He enjoyed playing soccer throughout his school years. In his spare time, he loved watching his favorite sports teams, the Dallas Stars, the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers and the University of Texas Longhorns. His family and friends will always remember him as a kind hearted person, very quiet and introverted, who loved his family and friends so much and adored his children.

Andrew is preceded in death by his Grandparents, John and Billie Taylor, Leland and Ruth Sims, and Sam Pliler.

Andrew is survived by his children Andrea and Leland, his father David and his wife Jackie and his mother Sharon, sisters Jennifer Fenley and her husband Jacob, Erin Johnson and her husband DJ, Crystal Spradley and her husband Shea, brother Zachary Curtis and his wife Caylee, nieces and nephews Bailey Riddle and Hayden Fenley, Brynlee and Bryson Barrett, Maisie Spradley, and Lilly Curtis, and many other family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Grove Hill.
