Alicia Diaz

Alicia M. Diaz died peacefully on March 2, 2020 surrounded by her daughters. Alicia was born on June 23, 1958 in Michoacán San Miguel Canario in El Llano. She was 61 years old. Her parents were Pedro Diaz and Elpidia Molina, both who are diseased.

Alicia is survived by her daughters, Yolanda Diaz, Flor Diaz, Victoria Gama, and Crystal Diaz; 11 grandchildren, Yudid, Juan, Ivan, Angel, Nathally, Alyssa, Antonio, Omar, Savannah, Genesis, and Eliana; 4 great grandchildren, Fernando, Johnathon, Christopher, and Mateo. She’s also survived by her sisters, Rafaela, Maria, and Cipriana and 3 bothers, Selso, Gomezindo, and Eligio Diaz.

Alicia was a single mother that worked hard to provide for her family. Even though she only completed the 6th grade, she was able to raise her daughters to be the women they are today. Everybody who knew her, knew they could count on her. She did not have much money, but if you needed a place to stay or if you were hungry, she would be there for you. Alicia was a strong woman who did not let her circumstances defeat her. She always found the light at the end of the tunnel.

Alicia will be missed by all that knew her.
