Alice Lassley Tomlinson

Alice Lou Tomlinson (Lassley) was a caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend who passed away on October 18, 2023. She was born on December 14, 1938, in Cleveland, OK, one of twelve children. She was a daughter of the late Albert A. Lassley and Roxie (Patterson) Lassley. She was a 1961 graduate of Oklahoma State University.

After graduating, Alice moved to Dallas, TX where she met her husband and worked for a travel agency until she became a mother. Alice's love of travel took her to fifty countries, including Japan, where she and her husband lived in Tokyo as expats for two years prior to his retirement.

Alice never met a stranger and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a fan of Dallas professional sports teams and would talk about her teams with everyone, especially her beloved grandson.

Alice is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gregory B Tomlinson; her son, Greg Tomlinson, Jr. (Darla) of Henderson, NV; and her grandson, Ryan Tomlinson of Tempe, AZ; her sisters, Beverly Lassley and Lexie DiMario; sisters-in-law, Irene (Fred) Howell and Wanda Jo Lassley; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

The family would especially like to thank the staff of Iris Memory Care of Turtle Creek, Dallas TX for the professionalism, kindness, and loving spirit they showered upon Alice and the entire family during her last year under their care.
