Alice Rojas was born on January 31, 1931 in Dallas, Texas to Tomas and Marcella Gutierrez. Alice was raised on Pearl St. in Dallas, Texas. She attended Crozier Tech in 1948. She married Gustavo Rojas in 1956 and the couple had 4 children. She was a legal secretary at Monroe and Lehman Law where she worked there for 10+ years. In her spare time Alice enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially when watching and rooting for the Dallas Stars, her favorite local sports team. She also loved to work in her garden and was an animal lover.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind, thoughtful, and generous person. Alice was a true caregiver to her children, sister, and parents.
She is preceded in death by her father Tomas, her mother Marcella, her sister Estella, and her brothers Ruben. Alice is survived by, her brother Ray, her daughter Sally, her three sons, Gus, Vincent, and Rene,as well as her granddaughter's, Victoria, and Kelly, and great-grandson's, John and Warren.
A visitation for Alice will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush, Turnpike, Dallas, TX 75252. A rosary service will occur Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 7990 President George Bush, Turnpike, Dallas, TX 75252. A mass service will occur Friday, June 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1201 Alma Dr, Plano, TX 75075. A committal service will occur Friday, June 30, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220.
