Steven Mark Truman

Steven Mark Truman, 36 of Dallas NC, passed away unexpectedly on July 1, 2017. Steven was born January 18, 1981 in New Castle, DE where he spent most of his life. He was a loving father to his young son, Steven Truman Jr. or “Lil’Tru” as he loved to call him. Steven loved Philadelphia Sports teams and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He loved to talk trash about the “Cowboys”. He was a fun-loving person who never met a stranger, and could always make you smile. His various interests included car shows, fishing, rap music and cooking. He also enjoyed going to flea markets and being outdoors. He volunteered some of his spare time at The Salvation Army helping those in need. Steven will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother and Pop, Anita (Truman) DiMauro and Tommy DiMauro; son, Steven Truman Jr. (Jenn Cerasari, Kylee Lawhorne) of Delaware; brothers, Zack and Nick DiMauro both of Dallas, NC; his sister, Tiffany Lloyd (Renee Lloyd); his biological father Steven Lloyd, and his Delaware “Mom”, Marie Saxton; several cousins, Aunts and Uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, July 7, 2017 at Dallas Funeral Home in Dallas, North Carolina.
