Frances Davis Lineberger

Frances Davis Lineberger, age 88, of Dallas, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was born in Dallas and was the daughter of the late John and Macie Carrigan Davis.

Mrs. Lineberger was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Dallas.

Mrs. Lineberger is survived by one daughter, Marie L. Arms and husband Troy of Dallas; one son, Clyde D. Lineberger and wife Jeannie of Dallas; six grandchildren, Lissa Heavener and husband Jeff, Tonda Lane and husband Mark of Gastonia, Montia Faye Harris of Ohio, Dwayna Frances Robbins, James Arms and wife Brandy of Dallas; eight great grandchildren, Brandy N. Heavener, Jeffery Heavener, Jr., Misty Brackett, Nikki Monas and husband Andrew of Gastonia, Danny Thompson of Denver, Joshua Chad Rush, Maddie Arms, Christian Watson of Dallas; eight great, great grandchildren; one great, great, great grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Friday at Dallas Funeral Home, 212 West Trade Street, Dallas.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Friday at Dallas Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Gaddis officiating.

Interment will follow at Dallas Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Dallas.

Mrs. Lineberger was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde A. Lineberger; one brother, Mervin “Bo” Davis; one sister, Irene Ford; one grandson, Jacob Dwain Rush.
