A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Lizzie Smith.
Mrs. Watts was a member of Hardin Community Baptist Church and a faithful member of Morning Glories.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Watts; sons, Terry Watts, Ronald Watts; and daughter, Diane Watts.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Mills and Debbie Thompson (Allen); daughter-in-law, Donna Watts; sister, Ann Stines (Dean); grandchildren, Patrick Mills (Heather), Laura Thompson, Ron Thompson (Sarah), Daniel Thompson, Eva Towery, Vanessa Anderson (Charles); great grandchildren, Emma Thompson, Marie Mills, Lola Thompson, Aubrey Towery, Lexton Towery, Eliott Anderson and Alliandre Anderson.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hardin Community Baptist Church with the Revs. Clay Ledford and Fain Farmer officiating.
Interment will be at Long Creek Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Dallas Funeral Home.
