Audrey Ramsey

She was born July 25, 1937 in Jefferson, Georgia.

Mrs. Ramsey was a homemaker and had been a seamstress for many years creating many beautiful wedding dresses and enjoyed making quilted baby blankets for friends and family.

She was a member of the Dallas Foursquare Church and a past member of the Dallas Rescue ladies auxiliary.

Mrs. Ramsey is survived by her husband of 58 years Donald Truett Ramsey Sr.

Her children; Donnie Ramsey of Dallas, Randy Ramsey of Cherryville, Susan Spake of Lincolnton, Lisa Burgess and husband Jim of Dallas and Misty Brown and husband Glenn of Conover; her grandchildren, Jessica Davidson, Daniel Ramsey, Alan and Alex Ramsey, Elizabeth Brewer, Donnie Stroud, Madison Spake, Holly Sutton, Sarah Hanna, Sean and Taylor Burgess, Jessica and Tyler Brown, Weston and Jordan Beaver; her mother and step father, Montine and Guy Campbell; sisters Jeanette Nimmons and Pat Burtt all of Augusta Georgia and a special niece Pat Gaddis of Gastonia and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by her father Jesse Shumake.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church in Dallas with the Rev. Fred Morrison officiating.

Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:30 Tuesday at the Dallas Funeral Home.
