The death of Veronica (Vera) Patterson of Dalhousie occurred peacefully on May 9, 2015 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. She was 95 years of age and a former teacher for many years in northern New Brunswick.
Born in Jacquet River, she was the daughter of Josephine Doyle and Matthew McDonnell.
She was predeceased by her husband Warren, her sister Kathleen and brothers Frank and Edwin.
She is survived by her sister, Alice Boyes of Montreal, nephews Bernard McDonnell (Judy) of Belledune and Robert Boyes of Montreal, nieces Carmel Pilon (Barry) of Ottawa and Maureen McDonnell (Danny) of Toronto as well as grandnieces Emilie and Kady McDonnell, Sarah and Christine Boyes.
Funeral services are being held from St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church in Dalhousie on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 2pm. Interment to follow at a later date.
