Born in Dalhousie, NB on June 24, 1942, daughter of the late Charles Smith and of the late Margaret Harquail.
For over 20 years Margaret worked at the Best Western in Dalhousie until her retirement. She had many talents; she was an amazing cook; loved to sing, she even played in a band with her brother Ernest in her younger years.
She is survived by her three kids; daughter Jennifer parent of (Campbellton), son Ronald parent of (Moncton) daughter Jackie parent of (Fredericton), her sister Georgina and husband (Albert) of (Point la'nim), her brother Ernest smith of (Dalhousie) as well as many nieces and nephews. She had four grandchildren Jonathan Morrison and (Annie) from (Moncton), Nathanael (kylie) also of (Moncton), Jenelle Lumbston and Zackery Lumbsten from (Fredericton), as well as three great grandchildren Arrabella, Ace and Theiadora. Besides her parents she was predeceased by two brothers; Butch (Edward) Smith from (Dalhousie) and Alexander Smith from (Alberta).
Margaret was a quiet woman who will be missed dearly by many friends and family.
A funeral service will be held at St. John Bosco church in Dalhousie on Friday, June 03, at 2:00 pm.
