Liza passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 30th, 2024 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 54, after a long and courageous battle with cancer fought with exemplary grace. Born on June 11th, 1969 in Westmount, PQ to the late Rose Lee (Lanteigne) Savoie and Howard Splude, Liza grew up in Dalhousie NB.
Liza enjoyed a career as a Pharmacy Technician, dedicated to her work and she cherished her Jean Coutu family of colleagues and friends. While fighting her illness, Liza demonstrated strength and resiliency in pursuing and achieving her national professional accreditation. She loved serving and helping her many clients. A compassionate and loving spirit, Liza always put the needs and concerns of her family and friends first. She was also well known to many a stray animal lucky enough to find themselves in her care. A gentle spirit, she loved beachcombing (with dogs in tow), bonfires, bowling, birdwatching, movies and music. It is her beautiful smile, lighthearted laugh and generous spirit we will carry with us.
