Bonar Edmund Quigley, the son of the late Mildred (Miller) and the late Timothy Quigley, passed away peacefully at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on December 10, 2023. Bonar was born on March 15, 1945, in Dalhousie, NB. He was 78 years old.
He is survived by his children Joey & Alicia, his siblings, Lona, Doris, Marjorie (Grenvil), Harold (Verna), Dale, Vaughan, and Earl (Nancie). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and special family members Arrah-Lee, Wendy and Staci. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his partner Kathy Warren, his sisters Una, Wilma and brothers Calvin, Curmet, Patrick.
Bonar was the kind of person you could never forget. He always had a smile on his face and twinkle in his eye. He could fix almost anything and was ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He never shied away from hard work and instilled those same values to his children.
Bonar was constantly working around the house or yard and finding different projects. He loved to be outdoors doing things like golfing, gardening, ice fishing, walking on the beach, building things, caring for goldfish in his pond and many other animals. He typically could be found relaxing by the fire in the summers with Kathy. He kept his family and the neighborhood entertained with bonfires, fireworks, and various activities like walking stilts. He will be missed by his kids, but also his siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and all those that had the fortune of being a part of his life. He was the best father and brother anyone could ask for.
Respecting his wishes, there will be no service or visitation at the funeral home.
