Bertha (Duguay) Cyr

Née à Dalhousie le 17 Août 1932, elle était la fille de feu Léa Godin et de feu Germain Duguay.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Laura (Feu Jean), Doris (Carl), Blanche (Michel), ses petits-enfants, Lani (John), Renée (Jérémy), Josée (Éric), Nadine (Christopher), ses arrières petits-enfants, Colson, Zachary, Nicholas, Juliet et Marianne, une sœur, Mariette (Jacques Jobin) ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Outre ses parents et le père de ses enfants, elle fut prédécédée par son petit-fils Marc, ses sœurs Emma et Léa et ses frères Bertrand et Fernand.

Les funérailles auront lieu à l’Église St- Jean Baptiste de Dalhousie, mardi, 10 janvier à 11h00.

Il n’y aura pas de visites au salon funéraire.

Pour ceux qui le veulent, un don à la Société Alzheimer peux être fait en mémoire de Bertha.

Les arrangements funéraires ont été confiés aux soins du Salon Funéraire Maher de Dalhousie.

Passed away at the Renaissance Villa in Dalhousie on December 29 2022 surrounded by her family, Mrs Bertha Cyr from Dalhousie.

She was born in Dalhousie on August 17, 1932; she was the daughter of the late Germain Duguay and the late Léa Godin.

She is survived by her children, Laura (the late Jean), Doris (Carl), Blanche (Michel), Her grandchildren, Lani (John), Renée (Jérémy), Josée (Éric), Nadine (Christopher), Her great grandchildren, Colson, Zachary, Nicholas, Juliet et Marianne, One sister, Mariette (Jacques Jobin) and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson Marc, her sisters Emma and Léa, her brothers Bertrand and Fernand.

Funeral will be held at St-Jean Baptiste Church in Dalhousie on January 10, 2023 at 11 am.

There will be no visitations at the funeral home.

For those who wish to make a donation in Bertha’s name can donate to the Alzheimer’s society.
