Nancy Dawn Robbins

A Celebration of Life Service for Nancy Dawn Robbins, 73, of Los Angeles, California will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 26th, 2011 at The Living Branch Foursquare Church in Los Angeles, California (Culver City). Rev. Fred Barber will be officiating at the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Living Branch Foursquare Church, 12668 Washington Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90066.

Nancy Dawn Robbins was born February 20, 1938 in Moline, Illinois the daughter of Wallace Edison and Judith Marie Reyniers Robbins.

Nancy was employed as an Office Technician for Coeur d’Alene Elementary School for 24 years. She retired from the Los Angeles Unified School District in June 2011. She graduated from LIFE Bible College in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Moline Senior High School in Moline, IL in 1956.

Nancy was recognized in July 2011 for 50 years of faithful service to the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. During this time, Nancy held a variety of positions from Sunday School Superintendent to church treasurer and coordinator of neighborhood care ministries.

Nancy enjoyed sharing her faith in Christ, was an avid reader and no one paid more attention to detail than Nancy. Once you gave her a job, it was hers.

Nancy is survived by her sisters, Diane Young, of Orion, Illinois and Sally (George) Weckel of Moline, Illinois and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Debby Robbins Berry.
