Monique Amanda Muñoz, age 32, of Hawthorne, California passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Monique was born May 6, 1988.
Monique was a beautiful, accomplished young woman who had only just begun to leave her mark when she was tragically and unexpectedly called Home. Monique was a determined student, she was a recent college graduate and had plans to continue her education to pursue a career in criminal justice. Along with her studies, Monique took pride in being a hard-worker who had just started an exciting new job at UCLA. But perhaps Monique's greatest accomplishment and attribute was the time, love and devotion she put into her relationships with family and friends, she never missed a family gathering or a chance to help a friend, she truly had a heart of gold. While we take comfort in knowing our sweet girl is now in the comfort of God's arms, we will forever and always feel the absence of her shining light.
Monique is survived by her mother Carol, her father Phillip, her brother Phillip, her step-father Isaac, her grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins and several great cousins who she adored.
