John F. Garcia, Jr. passed away on 9/28/21 at the age of 69, in Los Angeles, California. He was born in Salida, Colorado. John is survived by his wife (Gloria), 3 daughters (Amy, Chelsa and Samantha), 4 grandchildren (Ashleigh, Allison, Cash and Price), parents (John Sr. and Adelaide), brother (Victor), and Abby his beloved dog. John’s career spanned 30 years in the non-profit sector, beginning in Denver where he worked at various non-profits, the last being the Asst. Director at the Mental Health Corporation of Denver. He moved to Los Angeles and worked at Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health and Covenant Health of California. John will be remembered as the one at the dinner table who could out-eat everyone. He had a quiet demeanor, a deep sense of loyalty and cared deeply for his family and friends.
