As a young man, Gregory decided to enlist in the United States Army. Shortly after he became an engineer for Honeywell with Local 250 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. He was very protective over his sisters and would take his younger brothers fishing alongside his children, teaching them to catch and clean them. He had a great sense of humor. That laugh of his would make you start to laugh even if you had no idea what he was laughing about.........He was happy and smiling all the time.
That we will miss.

Dear Dad,
You was my first hero, you was the first who showed me how to make money at 7 years old, and you put the first $40 in my hands, which sparked a desire to make money. You showed me how a man should take care of his home, and even in bad times, you showed me what not to do. Even with your last breath, you showed the true power of forgiveness and with your last breath, you telling me how proud you were of me. That was priceless, so in life and death, you have always been teaching me life's lessons. Thank you very much for it all. I'll miss you dearly forever, my first hero.
Your son,
Dartanyon Lynn Sneed AKA Doc
love you Dad.......
