The Los Angeles Times, Sunday March 27, 1966, Calendar section, said Nick and Edna Stewart trained young people in the arts and showed "what can be accomplished when youthful energies are properly channeled."

My deepest and sincerest condolences to a family who without them Hollywood would never have reshaped their boundaries. Edna and Nick opened up so many doors and many of us are deeply indebted to them. We love you Edna and Nick, may you rest joyfully together. Edna and Nick truly have been crucial in weaving the fabric of my life even if it has been from a "fan" basis, I forever carry them with me throughout all my days. Thank you, the Stewart family holds a special place in my soul always.  May the Stewarts find peace and healing in their time of grief.

Mimi and Papa (aka Edna and Nick Stewart) married until death did one part. The blessing of life with them in it continues on in our beloved memories. 

Celebrating Mimi’s 100th Birthday was amazing. Especially because she was mad that everyone  knew her age! 💕

Mimi was super happy on her 103rd birthday! She won the scarf on her neck (playing BINGO) just before the party 😄

As a member of entertainment royalty Mimi will be greatly missed, Mimi always included and welcomed me into her home. The summer spent hanging out at the Ebony Showcase Theater with Shelley will live in my memory forever. You had a life well lived, rest in peace dear lady, Love, Sydney

Mimi was truly a gift and a light and blessed to grace us with her presence for 103 years! Sending love, prayers and condolences and may her memory bring comfort when you need it and joy to your soul always🕊♥️🙏🏽

Dear, dear Mimi, whenever I see a portobello mushroom, I think of the time we were in NY with Shelley and Jade! None of you had known of or tasted the delicacy.  Watching you devour that dish with such excitement was a vision I’ll have forever until we meet again. Rest in peace, Beautiful Lady.  ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
