Catherine Seeman was born in 1946 to Charles and Roberta Gibbs at Methodist Hospital in Los Angeles, California. She was raised in Inglewood, California where she graduated from Morningside High School. She attained her bachelor’s degree from Woodbury College.
She met her future husband George at the Hamburger Handout in Inglewood. They dated for a time before they got married in 1968. They lived in Palms for 3 years until they moved to Culver City where they raised their 2 children and lived for 52 years.
She started working for Culver City schools around 1983 where she worked until she retired in approximately 2009.
She is survived by her husband, George, son, Robert, daughter, Christine, son-in-law, Gustavo, 3 grandchildren, Caleb, Lorelei and Lily brother, Marvin, Sister-in-law, Barbara, and beloved pets.
