Vernon Leon Eppard Jr.

Vernon Leon Eppard Jr., age 63, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at his home in Culpeper, Virginia, on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022. Vernon was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed camping, cookouts, and fishing with his kids and grandkids. Vernon is preceded in death by his father, Vernon L. Eppard,Sr. and his wife, Sue Ellen Eppard. He is survived by his mother, Dolores Mary Eppard, his sisters Sherilyn Connor and Carolyn Harrell, his children Bradley Sorrell, Angie Myers, Amie Eppard, Amanda Eppard, and Vernon Eppard III, and his partner, Deborah Roark. Vernon was also blessed with eight grandchildren with whom he dearly loved spending time. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper with Pastor Tim Grandstaff officiating. A reception and time of fellowship will follow services at Clore-English Funeral Home until 12:00 p.m. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Quantico National Cemetery.
