Thomas Grinnell "Tomi" Sanders

Thomas Grinnell Sanders “Tommy”, age 58, of Boston, VA, passed away at his residence Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Tommy was born in Warrenton, VA, May 14, 1954, to Charles Carrol Sanders and Sylvia Reedy Sanders; he was a self-employed artist who worked with clay, paintings and landscaping; loved music, singing, playing guitar, cats, and collecting civil war memorabilia.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Wendy Sanders of Boston, VA, siblings; Carolyn Sanders of Remington, VA, Barbara Sanders of Amissville, VA, Charlotte Kelley of Rixeyville, Va and Butch Sanders of Stafford, VA. A number of nieces and nephews also survive Tommy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Lurie Sanders.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in the Amissville United Methodist Church, Amissville, VA, with Rev. Robert Strother officiating.
