Larry Wayne Hume

20 year retired Army Chief Warrant Officer and Professional Land Surveyor. He was a loving husband,

father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle.

He is survived by his wife Ola Mae Hume, his sister Judy Dodson, sons Brien Hume and Victor Tanner, two granddaughters, Kylie and Laney Hume, eight step children Gayle Coates, Dwayne Scott (Angie), KR Scott (Cassandra), Bridgette Scott, Greg Scott (Renee), Gene Scott Jr (Kim), Melissa Webb (Gary), Christina Hoffman, fourteen step grandchildren and fourteen step great-grandchildren, his nephew Jonathon, niece Megan, three great-nieces and many friends.

Larry’s family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Clore-English Funeral Home Chapel, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, VA with services beginning at 1:00 p.m. A committal service will be held immediately following at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper with military honors provided by the V.F.W. Post 2524 Honor Guard.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne Scott, KR Scott, Gene Scott Jr, Kenny Scott, Jacob Hoffman and Austin Carder.
