Janie Florence Andrews

Janie Florence Andrews, 80, of Culpeper, VA, passed away on March 11, 2022 at Choice Healthcare of Greene County. Janie was born November 23, 1941 to the late James Claybourne and Maggie Blake of Manassas, VA.

Janie grew up loving to ride horses and archery as well as dancing, music and literature. Janie was also a trusted master hairdresser for many years where she formed many friendships and a customer base beyond belief.

Janie is survived by her children; Donald L. Slayton, Jeanette Faris, Daron L Slayton, her son in law Casey Faris, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

There will be a time of fellowship Friday, March 25, 2022 from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Hwy. Culpeper, followed by a Celebration of Janie’s life at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Hans Murdock officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks to consider a donation in Janie’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Fl.17, Chicago, IL 60601.
