George Bailor Kline, Jr.

George B. Kline,Jr., 86, of Culpeper, VA, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018, In Culpeper, VA. He was born to George B. Kline, Sr. and Olive McClore Kline June 9, 1931 in Allenport, PA. Mr. Kline was retired as manager of G.C. Murphy and then worked with Merchants Grocery; was a member of Culpeper United Methodist Church and was a Mason of the 32nd Degree, Camp Springs Lodge 227 in Maryland and the Scottish Rite Temple of Alexandria.

Surviving Mr. Kline is his wife, Velma Kline of Culpeper; his sons, David Kline and his wife Agnes of Ashville, NC and Dennis Kline of Ellicott City, MD; his sisters, Faye James of Mt. Union, PA and Grace Stine of Lewistown, PA. Mr. Kline is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Lettie Clark, Edna Lanich, John Kline, Mary Sazsenbaker, Harry Kline, Betty Hooper and Beulah Coyle.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Culpeper United Methodist Church with Pastor Randy Orndorff conducting the service. Interment will follow in the New Section of Culpeper National Cemetery, Chandler Street with military honors provided by the VFW Post 2524 Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cardiac Care Unit of UVA Hospital, Charlottesville, VA or to the Culpeper United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
