Frances Therese Kossan

Frances T. Kossan, age 92, of Jeffersonton, VA passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Heritage Village Memory Care in Gainesville, VA. Frances was born on November 18, 1930 to Frank and Anna Erspamer of Hurley, WI. She attended schools in Hurley and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1948. Frances worked in Milwaukee for the phone company and moved to Washington, DC in 1950 to work for the Navy Department. She met her husband, Robert L. Kossan in 1952 and they married at St. Peter's Church in Washington, DC on January 30, 1954. Their marriage lasted 30 days short of 69 wonderful years. Frances is survived by her husband, Robert L. Kossan, their 4 children, Robert J. Kossan, Diane T. Ingolia, Thomas M. Kossan, Mary F. Wichers, and their families. A private mass will be said in honor of Frances at a later date.
