. Eloise Gibbs Norman, 97, of Culpeper, VA passed away at the Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community Friday. Feb. 21, 2014. Mrs. Norman was born to Robert H. Gibbs and Eunice Yowell Gibbs in Culpeper, VA Jan. 7, 1917; retired from the Department of the Navy and was a homemaker. She was the widow of Robert A. Norman, Sr.
Surviving Mrs. Norman are her children, Robert A. Norman, Jr. of Winchester, VA and Marion Chinn of Richmond, VA; her granddaughters Jan Potts of Valley Forge, PA and Kim Nelsen of Charlestown, WVA and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home, Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Madison, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Roger-Greaves School for the Blind, 118 S. Valley Rd., Paoli, PA 19301.
