Funeral services for William Thomas “Billy” Parker, 77, of Bremen will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Mike Parker and Wayne Williams officiating, with burial in Nesmith Methodist Church Cemetery in Winston County. He was a member of Johnson’s Grove Methodist Church.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Parker died Monday, June 21, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 7, 1932, to William Carrell and Gervus Marie Nichols Parker. He was a metal fabricator and farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Doris Parker Freeman; an infant brother; and a son, William Matthew Parker, twin of Martha.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Paulene Woodard Parker; a daughter, Martha Parker (Mike) Johnson; a brother, David Mitchell “Buddy” Parker; a grandson, Jacob Michael Johnson; a granddaughter, Jessica Marie Johnson; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
