Wilda Corley

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Corley died Saturday, Nov. 17, at her residence. She was born Nov. 30, 1925, in Cullman to Boyd and Tressie Drake Moon. She was a beautician and owned the Cullman Beauty Shop for 55 years. She also served as a hairdresser for local funeral homes for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Corley; and a daughter, Jamelle Corley.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy (Hinton) Mitchem and Catina Corley Parrish; two sons, Michael Corley and Tildon (Becky) Corley; a brother, Winfield “Bully” (Theolene) Moon; nine grandchildren, Candice Corley Sanders, Brandy Graham, Kyle Shaw, Kerry Shaw, Brittnie Mabry, Courtney Corley, Corley Parrish, Caylee Parrish and James Clark Parrish; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Kelly, Moye Drake, Ricky Drake, Carlos Wilhite, Doyce Lawrence and Gaylon Drake.

The employees of Moss-Service Funeral Home will serve as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to East Flint Baptist Church in Vinemont.
