Funeral services for Mrs. Vonda Lee Galbreath Waldrep, age 84 of Logan, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 5, 2010 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at New Mt. Zion Cemetery, with Rev. Kenneth Hancock officiating.

Vonda passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010 at her residence. She was born on November 2, 1925 in Cullman County to Albert and Sarah Essie Tucker Galbreath. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, a lifelong resident of the Logan area. Mrs. Waldrep was a homemaker and quilt maker, and loved flowers and little children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 64 years Carvin Waldrep, a son Ray Waldrep, who gave his life for our country in Vietnam War; three brothers, Erby Galbreath, Garland Galbreath and J.A. Galbreath; one sister, Pauline Galbreath.
Survivors include a loving and dedicated, care giving Daughter, Delwyn Waldrep (Doug) Skinner of Logan; one Sister, Faye Galbreath Weeks of Huntsville; one Brother, Howard (Freda) Galbreath of Logan; and a Host of Nieces and Nephews; and a Beloved pet Dog Katie Jane.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
