Mrs. Vera V. Eddleman McDearmond

Mrs. Vera V. McDearmond of Eva Alabama passed away on Monday June 14, 2010 at Cullman Long Term Care at the age of 92. Mrs. McDearmond was born on December 2, 1917 in Cullman Alabama to Gus Odis and Rosie Esther Murphree Eddleman.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 17, 2010 at Eva United Methodist Church at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Al Dean officiating. Mrs. McDearmond will lie in state one prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Eva Cemetery.

Mrs. McDearmond is preceded in death by: Parents, Husband: Ora W. McDearmond, Son: Norman L. McDearmond, Daughter: Peggy L. Morgan, Brothers: Edward W. Eddleman, W.L. Eddleman, Son-In-Law: Donald Ray Morgan, Sisters-In-Law: Kathleen Eddleman and Sarah Eddleman.

Survivors are: Grandchildren: Terry McDearmond, Keith McDearmond, Robin Morgan, Susan (Jeffrey) Elam. Great Grandchildren: Brandon (Lauren) McDearmond, Morgan (Clayton) Warden and Lauren Elam. Great Great Grandchild: Sawyer McDearmond. 1 Brother: O.D. Eddleman, 1 Sister: Opalene (Clyde) Hooten, 1 Sister-In-Law: Elaine Eddleman.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Eva United Methodist Church or Omega Hospice.

Visitation will be on Wednesday June 16, 2010 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Moss Service Funeral Home in Cullman Alabama.
