Sherlon George Speer

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He is retired from the Cullman Electric Co-op. He enjoyed working on old cars and loved to watch racing.

His parents; George Lawrence and Lexie Marie Speers preceded him in death along with his two brothers: Deerea Lee Speer and Hershel Joseph Speer.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Linda Faye Speer; daughter, Candy Speer Moore; son, Nicky (Saundra) Speer; grandchildren: Benny George (Kendall) Speer, Nicholas Joseph (Elizabeth) Speer and Stella Katherine-Ruth Speer; great grandson, Waylan Joseph Speer; sisters: Charlene (Earnest) Stephens and Maxine Stricklin and sister-in-law, Tammy Speer.

His family will receive friends at Moss Service Funeral Home on Monday, September 23, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Moss Service with Bro. Ray Ponder officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Shelton Grove Cemetery.
