Rufus Clark McAnnally Jr.

Mr. Rufus C. McAnnally Jr. of Garden City Alabama passed away on May 28, 2012 at Cullman Regional Medical Center at the age of 85. Mr. McAnnally was born on November 23, 1926 in Garden City to Rufus Clark and Sarah Shaver McAnnally. He worked as dock worker for Ryder Truck Line and he was a veteran of The United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, late wife: Melba McAnnally, Grandson: Jared McAnnally, 2 Brothers and 3 Sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Moss Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Bobby Smith, Rev. Keith Gambill and Rev. Bill Ellis officiating. Interment will be in Garden City Cemetery.

Survivors are: Wife: Bonnie McAnnally, 2 Sons: David A. McAnnally, Dennis Wayne (Sandie) McAnnally, Step-Children: Bobby (Patricia) Smith, Deborah (Donald) Gray, Arlita (Eugene) Pennington, 2 Sisters: Laura (Donald) Harrison, Geraldine Weber, 3 Grandchildren: Amy (James) Absher, Eric McAnnally, Clay (Kara) McAnnally, 3 Great Grandchildren: Devyn Self, Brian Prisca and Savana McAnnally, 9 Step-Grandchildren and 18 Step-Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers: donations can be made to Garden City First Baptist Church Building Fund.
