He is survived by his wife, Josephine Skinner; daughters, Rena (Allen) Putman and Vaneesa (Tony) Mobley; sons, William Skinner and Julian Skinner; stepdaughter, Alexis Bautista; grandchildren, Tucker Putman, Doston Putman, Eason Putman, Devin Patterson, Ivan Mobley and Skyler Mobley; brother, Frank (Jeanenne) Skinner; best friend, Bruce Baggett and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian Skinner and Dorthy Tucker Skinner and a sister, Vicki Reid.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 11am at Moss Service Funeral Home; burial will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10am to 11am at the funeral home.
