Peggy Sue Howard, 84, a longtime resident of Cullman, Al. passed away on January 16, 2021. She lived her life being a family matriarch and was a ray of sunshine to anyone around her. Loving her family and grandchildren to no end, there was never a more dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Along with her strong Christian faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, she loved cooking, socializing, reading, sewing and of course solving a good crossword puzzle. She had the opportunity to travel many places around the world as her husband of 58 years was a retired Sargent in the Army. She was a lifelong member of Northside Baptist Church. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents William Jackson and Sarah (Meeks) Young, husband: Elmer Guy Howard, brother: Herman Young, son: Timothy Lee Howard, daughter-in-law: Deborah Howard.
Survivors are: sons: Christopher Howard, Gary Howard, James William (Lisa) Howard, daughter: Julie (Terry) Sellers, six grandchildren: Tim (Delina) Howard, Meaghen (Chad) Woodis, Dallon Sellers, Shawn Sellers, Shawnee (Nicholas) Simmons and Wiley Howard.
There will be a private service for family on Thursday, January 21, 2021 directed by Moss Service Funeral Home.
