Funeral services for Peggy Ann Cook, 66, of Garden City will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Buddy Perkins officiating, with burial in Garden City Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Cook died Thursday, May 12, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 18, 1944, to Tommy and Ellis Headrick Tyson. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Waymon Tyson and Donald Tyson.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred Cook; a son, Sherrill (Teresa) Cook; a daughter, Sonya (Jason) Greathouse; two sisters, Patricia (Ronnie) Roberts and Sandra (Mike) Watwood; five grandchildren, Nikki (Philip) Johnson, Teshia Cook, Destiny Cook, Tommy Cook and Dustin (Kendall) Greathouse; and three great-grandchildren, Pyper Johnson, Wyatt Johnson and Shianna Greathouse.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
