Funeral services for Olene Swann Parker, 90, of Pell City will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Ryan’s Creek Baptist Church, the Revs. Keith Gambill and Herman Pair officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Parker died Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham. She was born May 6, 1922, in Cullman to Bertis W. and Ollie Stricklin Swann. She was a homemaker. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Pleasant Grove for over 30 years. Since moving back to Cullman County, she was a member of Ryans Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby E. Parker and James L. Parker; four sisters, Ruby Morgan, Ila Watters, Odessa Cosper and Shirley Pittman; a brother, Maylon Swann; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ryan’s Creek Baptist Church.
