Max Royce Jones

The funeral service will be held at Moss Service Funeral Home, Hwy. 31, Cullman, AL, on Sunday, July 2, 2017, at 4:00 PM with burial to follow at Cullman City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:30 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.

Max Jones is survived by a Sister, Louise Bibeau; Son Jeff Jones (Liz); Daughter Janet Latham (Andy) Grandchildren Emily Jones, Eleanor Oser (Brad), Elizabeth Flachsbart (Alex); Jeffrey Jones; Holly Hunt (James); Laura Gustavson (Phillip) Great-grandchildren Annie Oser; Savannah and Harrison Hunt and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Cliff and Beulah Jones; brother Leo Jones; sisters Betty Dively and Jean Dunlap. Mr. Jones was married to Ramona Jones (50 years) and Nila Jones (10 years)

Max Jones attended Arab High School, Jacksonville State University, and spent his career in the Farm Services business. He loved his family dearly, and was always an enthusiastic participant in family activities and trips. He loved the Lord and was active in the Methodist Church. He enjoyed golf, and was a faithful fan of the Crimson Tide and the Atlanta Braves.

Special thanks to long-time caregiver Lynda Thompson, and Hospice of Limestone County. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice of Limestone County, or a favorite charity.
