Born April 17, 1952, Gail will be remembered for having a heart of gold. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone and was a true servant who loved the Lord and her church.
Gail is preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Red” Bates; parents, Verbon and Louise Hamby, brothers, Donald Hamby and Milford Hamby.
Survivors include, sons, Tony (Sarah) Bates, Lee (Stacy) Bates, sister, Charlotte (Sam) Bates, brothers, Bud Hamby, Danny (Samantha) Hamby, grandchildren, Daniel Bates, Abby Bates, Dracen Bates and Devin Bates. She is also survived by many relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 7th from 5:30-8pm. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2pm at Moss Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Moss Service directing.
