Lloyd Johnson

After serving his country in the Air Force, Red was employed by Cullman Co. Sheriff’s Department. He was also the bailiff for Judge Kim Chaney. Lloyd was a member of Masonic Lodge 421.

Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his parents: Bama Swan Johnson & Louis Emmitt Johnson; his son, Michael Edward Johnson; his sisters: Arzola Parker & Tassie Douglas; and his brothers: H.M. Johnson and Paul Johnson.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Johnson; sons: Robert Dennis Johnson (Susan), Jeffrey Wade Johnson (Debbie); and Martin Anthony Johnson; granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Roberts (Dustin); great grandson, Lex Ryan Harbinson; sister, Gloria Faye Yates; brothers: Sidney Mac Johnson (Jean), Billy R. Johnson (Carolyn), and Herbert Johnson and his sister-in-law, Fayteen Johnson.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 2:00 PM. At Longview Church of God with Bro. Charles Irvin; Pastor, Chris Alexander and Bro. Sidney Mac Johnson officiating. Burial with honors will follow at East Point Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 5:30 PM until 9:00 PM at Moss Service Funeral Home.
