Johnny "Tooter" Lloyd Scott

Johnny "Tooter" Lloyd Scott, age 81, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, surrounded by his family. Tooter was born on May 19, 1941 in Cullman, Alabama to Francis Heinl Scott and James Huelett Scott.

Tooter is survived by his sons: Tim (Jessica) Scott, Todd (Rhonda) Scott; his grandchildren: Adam (Kelsey) Scott, Ashley Scott, Arleigh Grace Scott, Zane Scott, Kadie Scott; his great grandson: John Paul Scott, his lifelong friends: Eddie Peinhardt, Johnny Richter; his niece: Terri Scott (Jack) Kimbrel; and host of cousins.

Tooter was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years: Carolyn Ann Coker Scott; his father: James Huelett Scott; his mother: Francis Heinl Scott; and his brother: James "Shorty" Scott.

Tooter was a hardworking man, who spent his life as a farmer. He enjoyed his time with his family on the Scott Farm. He loved his family and he will be missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life graveside service for Tooter will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Cullman City Cemetery, 812 9th Ave SW, Cullman, Alabama 35055. Rev. John Richter III will be officiating.

Serving as pallbearers: Adam Scott, Zane Scott, Brian Kress, Eddie Rice, Woody Jacobs, Al Davis; and John Paul Scott as honorary pallbearer.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tooter's memory may be made to St. John's Evangelical Protestant Church, 512 2nd Ave SE, Cullman, Alabama 35055; and Peinhardt Living History Farm, PO Box 1938, Cullman, Alabama 35056.
