.Funeral services for John Henry Hicks, 80, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Lee Witherington officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Methodist Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hicks died Monday, Jan. 30, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Oct. 23, 1931, in Cullman to John and Velma Ballew Hicks. He was a fabricator with Motion Industries.
Survivors include his wife, Nola Gorman Hicks; two daughters, Karen Laney and Sherry (Rex) Buckelew; a sister, Mary “Bootsie” Mahler; four grandchildren, Stacey (Kenneth) Twitty, Heath (Shana) Laney, Carrie Laney and Josh (Wendy) Buckelew; and seven great-grandchildren, Skyler, Lance and Kelsey Twitty, Abby and Zach Laney, Livia Laney and Jackson Buckelew.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
