Janis was a loving mother who enjoyed cross-stitching, LEGOs, Alabama football, and all things Disney. She is survived by her son Andy Witte of Madison AL, her brother Neil (Ann) Glasscock of St. Simons, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Janis is preceded in death by her husband James Edward Witte, mother Elva C. Blair, father Powell W. Blair, sister Virginia G. Richter, and brothers Roy Glasscock and James Blair. In lieu of flowers family requests donations to St. John Church and St. Jude Children's Hospital
Visitation for Janis will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM followed by a celebration of life funeral service starting at 1:00 PM at St John’s Church 512 2nd Avenue SE, Cullman, AL 35055. Interment will follow at Cullman City Cemetery, 812 9th Street SE, Cullman, AL 35055.
