Funeral services for Harry Douglas Weissend, 66, of Cullman will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Father Patrick Egan officiating, with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Weissend died Saturday, Sept. 10, at his residence. He was born March 17, 1945, to Harry William and Ruth Marie Tingle Weissend. He was a welder with American Trim.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Phillip Weissend; and a son, Leonard Weissend.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Young Weissend; three sons, Vincent Morrow Weissend of Hanceville, Dennis Martin Weissend and Mark Ashley Weissend, both of Cullman; two brothers, Steve Weissend of Christoval, Texas, and Danny Weissend of Gordo, Ala.; a sister, Linda Weissend Boike of Cullman; four grandchildren, Serena Weissend, Zachary Weissend, Isaac Weissend and Noah Weissend; and a great-grandchild on the way.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
