 I remember vividly the first time I met Diane when I interviewed her for a position in our Lake Wales eye care practice. Her warmth, eagerness to please and that beautiful, expressive, constantly smiling face touched me.
 She got the job and what an asset! All who came into contact with her at the office- patients, coworkers and especially me- benefitted from her sales skills, work ethic, countenance and strong Faith.
 Diane always remembered staff Birthdays and made sure that although we were another year older we were also special... Fun!
 Diane’s life reflected how much she loved her family and eased her decision to retire and move to Cullman to be closer to them. She is proud of everyone of you and, best of all, you know it.
 I will miss that special, special person You delivered into my life Lord Jesus. What wonderful memories and blessings I have from the times I shared with Diane.

There are so many! From the time we
We’re babies(she is only 19 mos older).
She would hold my hand and keep up with me. She has never stop taking care
Of me. We were like twins. So much 
To gather. Even after we married we
Made trips with hubbies and cousins.
I’ll miss my Lady Di! My sissy! My buddy!
My wonderful friend! My heart hurts so
Very much!

     I met Diane when I took my first-born infant to Wee Care Daycare.  I was so sad that I had to return to work and could not stay at home with my precious baby.  Diane was very gentle and assuring, and I knew that my son would be cared for with love.  I expressed and froze breast milk for my little one, and Diane and her nursery staff fed my baby his special bottles.  I’ll always be grateful for her kindness to a weeping mother and her baby.
     In future years, I so enjoyed talking with Diane at Dr. Pearce’s office.  She and John Grimes took good care of my spectacles and me.  She often mentioned what a good mother I had been.  Diane was so kind.  I was blessed to have her in my life.  

I am deeply saddened to learn that Diane has passed. We went to school together in Lake Wales. We rode the same bus daily. I also was happy to see her in Dr Pearce’s office in Lake Wales and catch up. God bless each and every family member. 

Hershall,  though I never met you, Diane would always mention you when we met at Dr. Pierce's office!  Diane's passing has left a hurt in my heart as we grew up together, from the Children's Dept. - Young Adult's at West Side Baptist in Lake Wales!  She was a loving and dear friend...as well as her entire family.  So thankful that one day, sooner than later, we will all be together rejoicing with Jesus!  May the Lord bless you, comfort you, and keep you close to His heart during these days!


So sorry to hear this, Diane was a friend and neighbor for many years. Our thoughts are prayers are with you all. 

Hershell my heart goes out to you and your family. Diane was a very special friend when we were growing up. I loved her very much. She was always happy and had her smile and we all had a lot of fun together. May God give you the comfort to go on and one day we will all be together again with Jesus. 
She just got there before us and with her family there.  Our prayers are with you all.


May God comfort the family during their time of sorrow. Diane was  a beautiful person inside and out. Had lots of family dinners at her house. She always seemed to have a smile on her face and kind to everyone she met.
She will be missed forever.  Now she has her Angel swings. Fly high Diane untill we meet again.

We are very sorry for your loss, Diane and your whole family mean alot to us and have been a part of our lives since when we met.  There are a lot of Memories I have of Diane,  Her and Hershel would come to San Diego to visit Chris, who at the time I shared an apartment with,  I always looked forward to their visit because it ment Chris and i were not cookin and for sure we were eating good and the great stories they told about Chris were always Awesome!  I definitely liked them from the moment we met!  How could you not!  I know she is smiling down and thinking them Boys still can't cook!  We Love and will miss you Diane, Walk forever with Jesus now.  Amen. 

One of the most wonderful coworkers I’ve ever had. She became a dear and trusted friend over the years. Prayers and condolences to you Hershel and family. My most favorite memory was on the trip Diane and I took to Savanna, Georgia. I will miss you so much. Love Sigrun(your PAL always)

I am so sorry ! Diane was a lady filled with smiles & much happiness! Loved the days we all attended church together! She has reached her destination & rejoicing before Jesus! She will leave a vacancy in many lives!
