Mr. Clarence Armin Richter

Funeral services for Clarence Armin Richter, 86, of Cullman will be Wednesday, Sept 19, 2012 at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Protestant Church, Rev. John Richter officiating assisted by Rev. Bob Kurtz with burial at Cullman City Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to service.

Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Richter died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 21, 1926 in Cullman to Otto Frank and Louise Marie Schwan Richter. He was owner of O.F. Richter and Sons Paint Store.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Arthur, Hubert and Frank; and a sister, Evelyn.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Glasscock Richter; a brother, Roy Richter; three daughters, Betsy (David) McLeroy, Nancy (David) Nixon and Pam (Richard) Henderson; seven grandchildren, Trae (Kristie) Noblett, Amy (Shannon) Bolte, Candy (Ken) Glozer, Emily (Shane) Cook, Leslie (Rustin) Umstattd, Ahsley (Jason) Kent and Eric (Lindsay) Nixon; and 13 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. John’s church or an Alzeheimers foundation.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home.
